Mystic Mawky – Week Two

Newcastle 0-2 Chelsea: Title contenders Chelsea will be too strong for an indifferent Newcastle side at St James’s Park and should record a comfortable win.

Fulham 1-2 Manchester United: Fulham to continue to struggle against a United side that are showing signs of finding some form for the first time this season and should record their first away win in the league since the opening day.

Hull 1-1 Sunderland: Sunderland to continue the momentum picked up in last week’s derby win over Newcastle and pick up a point away from home against a Hull side that have been performing above expectations this season.

Manchester City 4-0 Norwich City: City to get back on track after defeat to Chelsea last weekend by thrashing a Norwich side that will be struggling for survival come the end of the season.

Stoke 1-2 Southampton: Southampton have impressed a lot of people this season, including myself and should record an away win at the Britannia stadium against a very average Stoke side.

West Brom 2-1 Crystal Palace: Mid table West Brom should beat a very poor manager-less Crystal Palace at the Hawthorns. Palace are my tip to finish bottom of the league this season.

West Ham 1-1 Aston Villa: West Ham and Villa will battle out a draw at Upton Park. Standard battle between two mid-table sides.

Arsenal 1-1 Liverpool: Top of the table clash between two sides who have made very good starts to the season. Going a draw as they should probably cancel each other out. Liverpool will get a point against an Arsenal side that are coming into the game on the back of defeats to Borussia Dortmund and Chelsea.

Olivier Giroud will look to keep his side top of the table as they take on Liverpool at the Emirates.

Everton 1-1 Tottenham: Two evenly matched sides will play out a draw at Goodison Park, will be no more than couple of places between Everton and Spurs come the end of the season.

Cardiff 1-1 Swansea: The Welsh derby will be a tightly contested affair and will most likely end in a draw.

Gillingham 1-2 Carlisle United: Carlisle should get back to winning ways with a win against yo-yo side Gillingham who have struggled this season and who will ultimately be looking to stay up this season.
