Name: George Pacitto
Team supported: Tottenham Hotspur
Footballing hero/sporting hero: Ledley King/”Fat” Ronaldo
My name’s George, and logic tells me that because I was born in Fulham I should support them. The problem is I like a bit of excitement in my life. I had a Spurs shirt stuck on me when I was 2 and never looked back, despite the turgid 14th-place finishes up until 2007.
I’m interested in football (if I haven’t made that clear) but also follow Formula 1, athletics, and Rugby Union.
Name: Jamie Connor
Team supported: Liverpool FC
Sporting heroes: Robbie Keane/Xabi Alonso
I have supported Liverpool ever since I can remember. Call me a football hipster if you want, but I am a proud Real Oviedo shareholder. I play Championship manager 01-02 and like most Liverpool fans, I live in the past. I have quite strong views and I love a good argument. I write on my own football blog www.jamieconnorsblog.wordpress.com and tweet regularly on my Twitter @jamiec4036
By the way, this is Liverpool’s year! (Optimism keeps me sane)
Hometown: Dublin, Ireland
Team Supported: Liverpool
Sporting Heroes: Steven Gerrard/Ronnie Whelan
Hi, my name is Kevin and I’m from Dublin, Ireland. Always supported Liverpool (I blame my Dad for the years of pain and despair). I also have a keen interest in football from across the globe. Apart from football I occasionally watch golf, tennis and boxing. If you’d like to read my personal blog the link is http://bags-of-ability.blogspot.co.uk/ and to follow me on Twitter is @kev92kelly.
Name: Tom Dorsett
Team supported: Fulham
Sporting Heroes: Andrea Pirlo/Sean Davis/”Gentleman Jim” McGullion
To coin a phrase from a poem written for my 18th, by my good friend Ash – “From the very first day that mum and dad had ya, they raised you to be black and white like a little Fulham Badger..” and in a nutshell, that is about it when it comes to yours truly.
Fulham-mad, (part-time Carlisle United given I’m part of their media team currently) fan, with a rather large penchant for the Smiths. I’m also the author of a Fulham-related blog; www.knowingmeknowingyousahaa.blogspot.com and can be found on Twitter @TtotheAtotheD. Enjoy the show.

Name: Jak Harris
Team Supported: Carlisle United
Sporting Hero: David Beckham/Zinedine Zidane
I am currently in my 2nd year at UoC, starting last year following 10 months spent in America.
I have a big interest in sport and in particular football, my aim is to specialise in sports media and end up working for a footballing magazine such as FourFourTwo.
In addition to being part of the Pitchside team I will be working down at Carlisle United in their media department joining Harry and Tom who are carrying on from their work last year.
Name: Harry Barker
Hometown: The toon
Team supported: The toon army (as well as Deportivo La Coruna)
Footballing hero/sporting hero: Shola Ameobi/Djalminha/Cristiano Ronaldo/Andy Murray
The names Harry, don’t wear it out. I’m basically fanatical about football and tennis and have controversial views on both. My Sporting highlight was Sunderland getting relegated, twice…only joking. Murray winning Wimbledon has to top the list.
My favourite ever team was the Deportivo team from the early 00’s boasting names like Tristan, Djalminha, Pandiani and Valeron. I also have a family based support for West Ham United, Plymouth Argyle and Swansea City. As a Rugby Union fan my allegiance is a Welsh one thanks to my Dad.
